A pre-festive post in pandemic time!

It has been a while since we offered a news post, since pandemic issues have settled down in NSW, and all our museums opened.

We have, however, not been able to hold general meetings for local members. We do hope to start to have general meetings again in February 2021 in a venue where safe social distancing can be set up.

There are some pre-festive seasonal changes we need to let you know about now though. (And if anything different arises from the Northern Beaches NSW Covid outbreak, we’ll let you know straight away.)

So in the meantime, for the holiday season there are some changes to some of our museums’ opening times:

The Silverton Gaol Museum: remains fully open every day except Xmas Day.

The Synagogue of the Outback Museum: is open on a Wednesday only.

The Silverton School Educational Museum: is closed until otherwise advised.

The Mosque Museum: is open, but visits are by appointment only.

We hope that your holiday season goes as well as you had hoped it might!

And, from the Society, stay well and safe.
