Welcome back to the Society for 2025, and we have some good news!

First, our thanks to members who kindly suggested names of people who might fill the position of Society Treasurer. We have now been lucky enough to gain the services of Mr Garry McKenzie.  So we thank him for volunteering, and welcome him to the work of the Society. Gary’s contact details are on the Contacts page of our website.

Next, during January, our Secretary (Helen Daly) has planned sending out membership renewal forms. This is partly so that you may renew before the Annual General Meeting, which will be held second Monday in March, the 10th, and, as a member, be able to vote on important issues, including Committee positions.

Last, but by no means least, the Society’s first meeting for 2025 will be held on the 10th February at the usual time of 7pm. It will be held in the usual place, the Ralph Wallace Meeting Room, at the back of the Synagogue Museum at 165 Wolfram Street.

And, we have a Guest Speaker for the February meeting!
