From its very beginnings the Society has invited guest speakers to speak at its general meetings, many of whom made a paper or their presentation available to what was then a publication of first a newsletter, later becoming over time a Journal.
With many previous papers and presentations to draw upon, and more presentations and submissions occurring every year from local and far-flung historians interested in the researching and recording of our regional history, this area of our website focuses on capturing some of those, as well as more recent annual museum reports, and annual contributions from our patrons, throughout a year.
Dipping in
We hope this will be a growing part of the website, so worth coming back and checking. At the moment you’ll find some of our museum reports and some papers and presentations from 2018 on.
