Below are changes to the opening dates throughout the Easter period of some of the Historical Society’s museums.

The Silverton Gaol Museum is, as always, open every single day of the year, except Christmas Day, and from 9.30 am to 4 pm.

Over the Easter and Anzac holiday periods 2025, the Silverton School Educational Museum and the Synagogue of the Outback Museums will be open as follows:

• Silverton School Museum: Closed Good Friday; open Easter Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 9am to 3.30pm. Closed Anzac Day. All other days as normal.
• Synagogue Museum: Open Easter Sunday and Easter Monday 10am to 3pm, or by appointment with the Synagogue Museum’s Coordinator. Closed Anzac Day. (Check before visiting, however, as on some holidays this museum may be open only from 11am to 2pm.)
